Update 8 - GAME NIGHTS!
Greetings, Grove!
First, welcome to all the new members who have joined us since our last update! We're thrilled to have you here and can't wait to share more of our journey with you as we continue building PineAppleTree Games and bringing Lapidary Legends to life.
It's been a busy and exciting around here, and we have a lot to share!
The Grove Has a Name
One of the biggest updates is that thanks to your feedback from social media and our last newsletter, we've officially chosen a name for our community:

Thank you to everyone who voted, commented, and shared their thoughts. We love having a name that represents the amazing group of people supporting PineAppleTree Games.
Website Updates
Our website continues to grow and improve. It's still a work in progress, but we're feeling much better about where it's heading. Growing Toward Kickstarter
We're continuing to build momentum as we work toward our goal of launching a Kickstarter campaign for Lapidary Legends in early 2027.
If you're excited about the game, one of the biggest ways you can help is by sharing our website, social media pages, and newsletter with friends, family, and fellow gamers. Every new person who discovers the game helps us get one step closer.

What We've Been Up To
Welcome Patrick!
Our team has grown!
Please join us in welcoming Patrick to PineAppleTree Games. Patrick brings skills that will help improve our website and may even help us bring Lapidary Legends to Tabletop Simulator, making it easier for more people to play and experience the game.
SaltCON Summer
We attended SaltCON Summer and had an amazing time.
Our goal was simple: meet people, play games, and become a bigger part of the local gaming community. Along the way, we were able to get several playthroughs of Lapidary Legends to the table and received some fantastic feedback from players.

Goose Games Game Night
One of the highlights of the month was being invited by Goose Games to feature Lapidary Legends at one of their game nights.
To prepare, we needed multiple copies of the game available, which finally gave me the excuse I needed to get my 3D printer running again. After a lot of printing, cutting, and preparation, we arrived with three complete copies ready to play.
The event exceeded our expectations.
We ran six full playthroughs, received tons of helpful feedback, gathered some exciting ideas that could potentially inspire future expansions, and even welcomed several new members to The Grove. Most importantly, it was incredible to watch players discover the game and get excited about it.
A huge thank you to Goose Games for partnering with us and helping introduce Lapidary Legends to more people.

Next Stop: Don's Game Gatherings
The excitement continues!
Because of the success of the Goose Games event, we've scheduled another community game night with Don's Game Gatherings on July 8th. We're looking forward to introducing even more people to Lapidary Legends and continuing to grow the community around the game.
If you're local and able to attend, we'd love to see you there.

Looking Ahead
We're currently brainstorming advertising campaigns that we'll begin testing later this summer. Our goal is to spread the word about Lapidary Legends, grow The Grove, and build excitement as we get closer to Kickstarter.
There's still plenty of work ahead, but every month we're seeing more people discover the game, join the community, and help shape its future.
